The two-day conference features a full schedule that now includes a late evening reception on the opening day of Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Netherlands-based recycling and trading firm Peute Recycling and Netherlands-based equipment maker Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions are sponsoring the postdinner reception at Prague’s Duplex Club, which overlooks historic Wenceslas Square in the center of Prague. The evening of food, drink, socializing and networking will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. and will include transportation to and from the Corinthia Hotel, the conference venue.
The mornings and afternoons of Nov. 6-7 feature eight conference sessions covering the recovered fiber and plastic scrap markets in Europe and around the world, as well as two hosted lunches, one early evening drinks reception, two coffee and tea morning welcomes and several networking breaks between sessions.
The conference’s final session Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m., examines the growing presence of mergers, acquisitions and investment group funding in Europe’s recycling sector and a offers a look at exchange-based trading services. Titled Follow the Money, the session includes presentations from Mike Read, head of the Waste Sector at Grant Thornton UK LLP; Sebastien Ricard, an officer with France-based recycling firm the Paprec Group; Frederik Husebye, the director of sales and marketing at NOREXECO ASA - The Pulp & Paper Exchange; and Patrik Wahlroos, who is involved with risk advisory and analytics with the SEB Group.
